Welcome to Haiku. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.
Haiku is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:
We use PostHog to help us analyze how our users interact with the app. This helps us identify popular features and areas that may need improvement. The data collected is strictly related to app usage (e.g., button clicks, theme changes, or navigation) and is entirely anonymized. We do not collect names, email addresses, the titles of your tasks, or any information from your calendars through this analytics service.
You can learn more about how PostHog handles data in their Privacy Policy.
Your calendar data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the app—displaying your schedule on the clock interface and allowing you to create or modify events. We do not transmit your calendar data to our servers, nor do we sell or share your data with third parties. All communication regarding your Google Calendar events happens directly between your local device and Google's servers.
If you choose to sync your Google Calendar, Haiku will authenticate using Google Sign-In and access your events via the Google Calendar API. Your use of this feature is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Haiku's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
We rely on the security features provided by iOS and the official Google Sign-In SDK to protect your authentication tokens and data. We do not maintain our own databases for your calendar information.
